Before UX,
there was engineering.
The starting point was not a design brief. It was a compiler, a database schema, a system architecture diagram. Technology was the first language.
// Understanding systems from the ground up
function solve(problem: DomainProblem) {
const data = analyze(problem);
const arch = model(data);
return arch.implement();
}
// Build. Test. Iterate. Scale.

Executing with precision under severe constraints and intense operational pressure.
Extreme ownership where individual errors ripple across the entire mission.
Understanding how complex, human-operated systems maintain integrity at scale.
Being utterly reliable inside an established hierarchy you didn't create.
Military service, Egypt · 2016–2017 · A transformative foundation in discipline, reliability, and systemic thinking.
04
Software Engineer · Full-Stack
Hotel management and accounting systems. Working directly in production codebases — extending complex forms, building transactional modules, and evolving software that businesses depended on daily.
Software Engineer
Internal enterprise tools supporting company assets, media catalogs, and corporate operations. Production systems used daily by the organization — not prototypes or side projects.
Designing normalized database structures, indexing strategy, and high-integrity foreign key relationships for enterprise operations.
Ensuring strict atomic transactions where balances, bookings, and ledger entries must never desync or corrupt.
Encapsulating domain business logic inside maintainable service architectures and robust object-relational mapping.
"Enterprise systems taught me that code isn't an academic exercise—it's a contract between data and real human businesses."

Engineering Mindset
"How do we build it?"
Product Mindset
"Should we build it?"
"You can build the best software in the world
and still discover that nobody uses it."
The closer you get to human behavior and business decisions, the more of the true picture you can see.

Saudi Arabia · Digital Learning Platform
A religious education platform with reach at scale requires more than beautiful screens. It requires understanding how deeply personal learning behaviors translate into digital experiences.
"Scale in digital learning isn't just volume—it's honoring emotional and spiritual reverence through seamless simplicity."
08
Cairo, Egypt · TFSS (Teen-Friendly Spaces Survey) Audit
A mobile application designed as part of the TFSS (Teen-Friendly Spaces Survey) Audit—a civic research initiative helping Cairo teens discover, evaluate, and share safe, age-appropriate public spaces. Downloadable via on-site QR codes, tracking verified visits and syncing check-in data to the cloud.
Mapping favorite teen spots across Cairo to analyze lighting, pedestrian walkability, natural surveillance, and physical characteristics.
Uncovering the correlation between teens' spatial choices and their psychological needs for autonomy, peer connection, and emotional safety.
Defining safe teen spaces through a standardized audit score—empowering communities and municipal authorities to implement rapid improvements.
"Putting a transparent score on teen spaces turns everyday youth feedback into actionable civic response and urban improvement."

Visual Decision Tree & Intent Logic
Translating non-linear probabilistic branching into intuitive drag-and-drop clarity.
Model Validation & Medical Annotation
Designing high-density interfaces tailored to the rigorous mental models of clinicians and ML engineers.
Automated Behavioral Telemetry
Making automated observation unobtrusive while keeping qualitative researchers firmly in control.
Real-Time Anomaly Triage
Communicating probabilistic confidence so operators can verify and act without second-guessing.

Active Judgment"The UX question wasn't: where do I put a button?"
It was: where can human intervention improve the system without becoming a bottleneck?

"One thing I learned from working around AI is how powerful accumulated information can become. Something you don't fully understand today can become useful later — when your mind has enough context to connect it."
From machines that learn — to products that scale.

Automotive Spare Parts · Saudi Arabia
Automotive spare parts are not a simple product category. When an exact part is out of stock, expert sellers recommend a compatible alternative. Designing this requires translating physical specialist trust into a seamless digital journey.
Converting out-of-stock catalogue searches into verified alternative orders
"Users don't change simply because technology changes."

Coca-Cola HBC · Digital B2B & D2C Product Ecosystem
Architecting multi-tier digital commerce ecosystems across Europe and Africa—unifying direct-to-consumer platforms, multi-market merchant portals, wholesale marketplaces, and core enterprise workflows under one scalable design governance.
D2C consumer e-commerce built around brand loyalty, recurring customer convenience, and digital ordering in Egypt.
B2B e-commerce ecosystem serving kiosks, supermarkets, and hospitality clients across 20+ global markets daily.
Multi-seller B2B marketplace platform delivering tailored procurement solutions for Ho.Re.Ca. buyers and wholesale suppliers.
Employee training, asset management, and complex workflow automation powering the multi-market enterprise layer.
"When you design for 20+ countries, consistency is not visual polish—it is operational reliability."

Designing modern products means orchestrating friction, feedback, and intent between six dynamic forces:
Interconnected logic, mental models & state architectures
Cognitive load, emotional fatigue & intuitive heuristics
Observable real-world actions over claimed user opinions
Unit economics, retention flywheels & speed to market
Engineering feasibility, latency, APIs & performance
Probabilistic intelligence, autonomy & agentic feedback loops
"Screens are transient interface layers. The system architecture underneath is what creates enduring value."
